Getting started

Welcome to Zyprent

Zyprent brings property operations, finance, maintenance, communication and reporting into one connected workspace. This guide explains the recommended order for setting up your account.

i
Start with one property

Complete the first setup with one property before adding the rest of the portfolio. This makes it easier to confirm that roles, units and workflows have been configured correctly.

How Zyprent is organised

The platform connects the people responsible for ownership, management, resident experience and property services. Each role sees the information and actions relevant to their work.

Admin

Controls the workspace, billing, access and platform settings.

Investor

Reviews ownership, performance, approvals and distributions.

Manager

Runs residents, finance, maintenance and daily operations.

Resident

Accesses contracts, invoices, receipts and service requests.

Service provider

Receives jobs, submits quotes and records completed work.

Before you begin

These are details to prepare before creating your first property. They are not settings to tick on this page; they simply help you complete setup without stopping halfway.

01
Administrator confirmed

Choose the person responsible for account access, billing and workspace settings.

02
Organisation details ready

Have the company or portfolio name, operating currency and primary contact information available.

03
First property selected

Start with one property whose units, manager and ownership information are already known.

04
Team roles understood

Know who should join as an investor, property manager, resident or service provider.

Create and prepare your account

Use a secure work email for the administrator profile, then complete the organisation details before inviting the team.

Start here
01

Create the administrator account

Use the work email of the person who will control the Zyprent workspace and manage access.

02

Add the organisation details

Enter the company or portfolio name and choose the currency used for property records and reports.

03

Invite the people who will use Zyprent

Add investors, managers and other team members, then give each person the correct role.

04

Add the first property

Create the property record, add its units and connect the manager responsible for daily operations.

Invite your team

Add each person using the role that matches what they do. Managers should only be connected to the properties they manage, while investors should only see ownership and reporting linked to their portfolio.

Good practiceAssign access after the property record exists.

This makes it easier to connect managers and investors to the correct property as soon as they accept the invitation.

Add your first property

A property record becomes the centre of units, contracts, residents, maintenance, expenses, reports and ownership data.

Property setup4 steps
  1. 01
    Enter the property details

Add the name, address, property type and current management status.

  2. 02
    Create the units

Add each unit name or number, occupancy status and information needed for resident contracts.

  3. 03
    Assign the property manager

Connect the person responsible for residents, finance, maintenance and daily operations.

  4. 04
    Record ownership

Add investor shares used for approvals, reporting and distributions.

Create the units

Add every rentable or occupied space under the correct property. Use clear unit names such as A01, A02 or Penthouse so contracts, invoices and maintenance requests remain easy to trace.

Add residents and contracts

Create the resident profile, select the correct unit and attach the active contract. Contract dates and charges become the basis for invoices, payment records and renewals.

Record the first payment

Open the correct invoice, record the amount received and confirm the payment method. Once verified, the resident receipt and property financial records should update together.
