Quick answers to the questions new teams ask before getting started.

01What is Zyprent?+

Zyprent is a connected property management platform for investors, managers, residents and service providers. It brings property operations, finance, maintenance, communication and reporting into one workspace.

02Who can use the platform?+

Zyprent supports property investors, property managers, residents, service providers and platform administrators. Each role receives access to the tools and information relevant to its responsibilities.

03Can I manage more than one property?+

Yes. A single Zyprent workspace can manage multiple properties, units and ownership structures. Managers can also be assigned to specific properties.

04Does Zyprent support multiple investors?+

Yes. Properties can have multiple investors with recorded ownership shares. The platform can use those shares for reporting, expense allocation and distributions.

05How are payments recorded?+

Payments can be recorded against invoices and reflected in the relevant resident, property and investor records. Available payment methods depend on your workspace configuration and region.

06Can residents submit maintenance requests?+

Yes. Residents can create maintenance requests, provide issue details and follow progress. Managers can review the request, request quotes and assign a service provider.

Getting started

The basics of creating your workspace and bringing your team onto Zyprent.

How do I create a Zyprent workspace?+

Create an administrator account, add your company or portfolio details and review your default currency, billing and notification settings. You can then add properties and invite other users.

Can I invite members of my team?+

Yes. Workspace administrators can invite managers and other authorised users, then assign them the appropriate role and property access.

Can I change a user's role later?+

Authorised administrators can update roles and permissions as responsibilities change. Access should always follow the user's current duties.

Is onboarding support available?+

Yes. The Zyprent team can assist with workspace setup, portfolio structure and the recommended onboarding sequence for your organisation.

02

Properties and residents

Questions about property records, units, residents, contracts and portfolio structure.

How do I add a property?+

Create a property record with its name, address, type and operating details. You can then add units, assign a manager and record ownership information.

Can one property contain many units?+

Yes. Multi-unit properties can include as many unit records as required, each with its own occupancy, contract, resident and financial history.

How are residents added?+

Managers can create a resident profile, assign the resident to a unit and connect the relevant contract, invoices and payment records.

Can I manage furnished and unfurnished units?+

Yes. Zyprent is designed to support different property and occupancy models, including furnished, unfurnished, short-stay and long-term arrangements.

03

Finance and billing

Invoices, subscriptions, expenses, wallets, payouts and financial visibility.

How do subscriptions work?+

Zyprent offers subscription plans based on platform access and usage. Your chosen plan can be billed monthly or yearly where available.

Can I upgrade my plan?+

Yes. You can move to a higher plan as your portfolio, team or usage grows. Plan changes may affect the next billing cycle.

How are expenses approved?+

Managers can submit expenses for review. Approval rules can depend on amount, category and investor requirements, allowing small expenses to move faster while larger items receive oversight.

Can investors track distributions?+

Yes. Investors can view relevant portfolio performance, wallet activity and recorded distributions through their dashboard.

04

Maintenance and service providers

How requests move from issue reporting to quote approval, assignment and completion.

What happens after a resident reports an issue?+

The manager reviews the request, confirms its urgency and can request a quote or assign a service provider. Progress is then tracked through the maintenance workflow.

Can service providers submit quotes?+

Yes. Providers can submit labour, material and timing estimates. Managers or investors can approve the quote according to the property's approval workflow.

Can providers upload proof of work?+

Yes. Providers can add completion notes and supporting evidence so managers have a clear record of the work completed.

Can maintenance history be viewed later?+

Yes. Completed requests remain connected to the property and unit, creating a useful maintenance history for future decisions.
